Finally, we speculate on what the Nintendo Switch’s success means for the Nintendo 3DS. The current scenario harkens back to the end days of the Game Boy when Nintendo claimed that despite the Nintendo DS’ success, the Game Boy line would still exist evidently this is not the case.
