Will Nintendo Release a More Powerful Nintendo Switch Like Sony’s PS4 Pro?

The Nintendo Switch has had a fantastic first year. From the many leaks leading up to its reveal to the actual console announcement itself and its many games, it’s the cynosure of all eyes. However it’s far from perfect.

During this episode of Transition — Gadgets 360’s gaming podcast, we discuss the first year of Nintendo’s hybrid console and where Nintendo can improve on its runaway hit.

From its online service to the games on offer and even the possibility of Virtual Console titles, we dissect what the second year of the Nintendo Switch could bring. Most obviously, it’s lack of graphical prowess could see an iteration to the Nintendo Switch.

Much like the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, we could see a more powerful variant to the Nintendo Switch in the near future. We examine what a Nintendo Switch Pro could have such as expanded storage and better battery life.

In addition to this we talk about how to get a Nintendo Switch and buy games for it in a country like India where Nintendo doesn’t have an official presence. We also tell you what you need along with a Nintendo Switch in terms of accessories such as a microSD card and which one to buy.

Finally, we speculate on what the Nintendo Switch’s success means for the Nintendo 3DS. The current scenario harkens back to the end days of the Game Boy when Nintendo claimed that despite the Nintendo DS’ success, the Game Boy line would still exist evidently this is not the case.
